Why hello there!
My name is Lauren and I live on caffeine, have the spirit of Totoro, and like to run in 8 different directions all at once. For me, art is something I've never been the best at, but at the same time I've always been good at it. Over the years, art has just been something that I've managed to keep up with and grow at, but without getting too serious about. More than anything, I'm a musician. I'm a classically trained violist and cellist, jazz and rock trained (electric) bassist, rock trained guitarist, ukulele enthusiast, and also a master at the kazoo. On top of playing all of those instruments (and always learning more), I compose classical music. I've also been known to write sometimes, although I used to be much better at it.

(For those of you who do not know-- Guitar Center is a music store chain in the United States that sells all sorts of instruments, not just guitars)
I play several instruments, and I have for years. I am by no means whatsoever a virtuoso of any of them, but so far in my musical endeavors I have accomplished many things.
I've been looking around for a new acoustic guitar, as my current one is pretty crappy and I'm saving up money for a new one currently, and I also needed new bass strings. I was walking home from work and I was stepping on all of the crunchy leaves, and I found this really massive and dead-looking one so I got really excited and was like "yeah! This is gonna be awesome!" So I stomped on the leaf and it turned out to be a solid, non-leaf thing and I freaked out and I kicked it and it turned out to be a massive dead toad.
